Day 98

Friday and Saturday I was Rivers and Spires Festival in Downtown Clarksville. I was enjoying the festival and admiring some of the beautiful downtown architecture, When I found another reason this city is cool. They have a statue of a Photographer. I was photographing the Montgomery County Courthouse and turned around a was face to face with Nora Witzel.

Nora Witzel is recognized as one of the first women in Clarksville to have “broken the glass ceiling”
professionally in what was then most certainly a man’s world. She documented the landscape and architecture of the area.
